Being the most visited islet of Rodrigues, the Ile aux Cocos is obviously our most valuable treasure. Undeniably with its rare seabirds and magnificent beaches, many people have remained astonished in contemplating the sight. While walking along the beaches, you will be transported to a calm and peaceful place; free from the constraint of life.
LOCATION/DURATION : Full Day Excursion (9h00-16h00). ITINERARY: Embark at Pointe Diable found at Baie du Nord, a small village situated in the west of the island. The boat is safe embarkation and is provided with protection against the sun.
LUNCH: Drinks available-local punch, local wine, beer, mineral water, soft drinks, fruit juices. (The drinks will be served moderately). A cold meal will be served on the islet composed of fresh octopus and fish in various sauce, green vegetable salad and cooked vegetable.
OTHER DISCLOSURES:
The island is a natural reserve and there is a guideline to respect. For example visitors are not allowed to bring meat on the island. N.B. During winter only, when the tides are very low, the boat often cannot reach the Island and thus the clients have to walk 20 minutes to reach the beach.
Clients are advised to bring sun cream, sun glasses and hats.
